Friendship is such an important aspect of the human life. It can encourage us to come outside of ourselves, try something new, and discover who we are. Our guest, Brad Chase, is a perfect example of this. In this episode, we discuss how his friendships led him to discover the Catholic faith, his involved with the Cursillo movement and becoming an active leader in his parish.

Discussion Questions:

  • What stood out to you the most from this episode?
  • Throughout this episode, Brad shows his enthusiasm and openness by trying out new experiences from his weekly conversations with Jehovah’s Witnesses to helping lead an Alpha group in his parish. What new experiences is God calling you to try and be open to?
  • Brad shares his experience with the Cursillo movement and how meeting weekly with his men’s group radically changed his spiritual life. Do you have a regular group that you meet with? Who can you ask to journey with you and keep you accountable in your spiritual life?
  • How can you make a friend, be a friend, and bring a friend to Christ today?

Brad Chase is a parishioner at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish with his wife Carla and their four kids. He is also an active participant in the Cursillo movement, which evangelizes through friendship with this simple motto: Make a friend, be a friend, bring a friend to Christ.
